A communication coordinator heads the communication office of the Catholic Diocese of Nakuru.
Main purpose of the office is
To coordinate, facilitate , promote and support all communication activities in the Diocese.
To help the diocese be present in the local and national mass media. This among other things involves arranging for Diocesan press releases, press conferences, and covering Diocesan events.
To serve as public relations officer for the diocese, especially to the secular media among other duties.
RADIO AMANI
Radio Amani is a community radio station started in the year 2008 for peace Building based in Nakuru Kenya. Radio Amani aims to reach its listeners with quality nonpartisan programmes that promote peaceful co-existence and harmony in Nakuru and beyond. Radio Amani broadcasts predominately in Swahili which is Kenya’s national language. Our broadcasting format largely focuses on Educating and informing people on Religion, current affairs, social issues, commerce, and Agriculture.
